Dr. Sameerchand Pudaruth is an Associate Professor at the University of Mauritius. He has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. He also holds an LLB from the University of London. He is currently at the ICT Department in the Faculty of Information, Communication & Digital Technologies. He is a senior member of IEEE and a founding member of the IEEE Mauritius Section. He is also a member of the British Computer Society (BCS). His research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Machine Translation, Computer Vision, Robotics, Mobile Applications, Web Technologies, and Information Technology Law. He has written more than 90+ papers for national & international journals and conferences. He has worked on many funded projects from the Higher Education Commission, Mauritius Research and Innovation Council and the University of Mauritius. He has been in the organising committee of many successful international conferences such as Africon 2013, IST Africa 2014, Africon 2015, ICCCS 2015, BigData 2015, DIPECC 2015, Africhi 2016, Emergitech 2016, NextComp, ISCMI 2017, Mauritian Academic Conference 2018, icABCD 2018-2022, Elecom 2018-2022, and ICONIC 2018-2022. He has also written a book entitled, ‘Python in One Week’. |
Welcome to the official portal of the Mauricon ICONIC 2024: The International Conference on Intelligent and Innovative Computing Applications. It will be held on the 7th to 9th of November 2024 in Mauritius. This conference is being organised by the Society of Information Technologists and Engineers in order to provide an opportunity to academic researchers, industry professional, government delegates and students to interact and share their experiences and knowledge on cutting-edge developments in the fields of Cloud Computing, Internet-of-Things, Networked Systems, Data Communications, Computer Security, Computer Vision, Intelligent Computing, Robotics, Machine Vision, Signal Processing and ICT4D. Our main objective is to promote scientific and educational activities towards the advancement of knowledge by improving the theory and practice of various disciplines and areas of ICT Engineering.
Papers and/or abstracts are invited for ICONIC 2024 on topics lying within the scope of the conference. Full papers must be of high quality, original, and must not have been previously published elsewhere or intended for publication elsewhere.
All papers will be reviewed by members of the International Programme Committee and depending on their degree of innovativeness and quality of presentation, may be selected for oral presentation and publication in the conference proceedings. All submissions will be reviewed by at least three independent reviewers by following a double-blind review process.
The papers and/or abstracts from this conference will be published in a conference proceedings with an ISBN number.
