Reggie Davidrajuh has a Bachelor degree in Physics, a Master degree in Control Systems, and a PhD in Industrial Engineering (awarded by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology). Also, he has a DSc (habilitation) degree in Information Science (AGH University of Science and Technology) and one more PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Silesian University of Technology). He is a Professor of Informatics at the University of Stavanger, Norway, and a visiting professor at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. Dr Davidrajuh is an editor of the journal “International Journal of Business and Systems Research” and an associate editor of “Expert Systems with Applications”. His current research interests are: Modeling of Discrete-event Systems, Algorithms, and Graph Theory. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the British Computer Society. He is also a member of the Norwegian Academy of Technical Sciences. He is the author of, “Modeling discrete-event systems with GPenSIM: An introduction” by Springer. |
Professor Pius Adewale Owolawi is the Head of the Department of Computer Systems Engineering at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. He made it to the top 500 researchers in Africa between 2015 and 2020. Prof. Owolawi has over 140 scholarly outputs and 584 citations. He has a PhD in Electronics Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). He holds an advanced Diploma in Remote Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics from the Engineering Institute of Technology, Australia. He recently completed Postgraduate Programmes in AI and Machine Learning, Data Science and Business Analytics through the University of Texas Executive Education Program, USA and a Postgraduate Program in Cloud Computing through the Great Lakes Institute of Management Executive Learning, India. He is currently registered for an LLB at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He is a member ECSA, IEEE, SAIEE, SARL and SAAMSAT. He has been appointed as a 4IR research chair for MICT SETA. He is involved in several industrial projects within South Africa and abroad. He has won several research and innovation awards. |
Welcome to the official portal of ICARTI 2021: The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and its Applications. It will be held on the 9th and 10th of December 2021 in Mauritius. This conference will provide an opportunity to academic researchers, industry professionals, government delegates and students to interact and share their experiences and knowledge on cutting-edge developments in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning & their applications, Robotics, Computer Vision & AI in Society. Our main objective is to promote scientific and educational activities towards the advancement of knowledge by improving the theory and practice of Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
Papers are invited for ICARTI on topics lying within the scope of the conference. All contributions must be of high quality, original, and must not have been previously published elsewhere or intended for publication elsewhere.
All papers will be reviewed by members of the International Programme Committee and depending on their degree of innovativeness and quality of presentation, may be selected for oral or poster presentation and publication in the conference proceedings. All submissions will be reviewed by at least three independent reviewers by following a double-blind review process.
